FEMININE POWER

To understand how power relations, especially those that normalize gender inequality, are ingrained in knowledge and practice, feminism examines the foundational elements of culture and identity. It highlights the presumptions that underlie knowledge and highlights gaps in viewpoints to produce more complex, inclusive, and thorough histories and theories, opening up avenues for increased social justice and equality.  Our image culture is one of the most effective ways of narrating power relations and disseminating dominant ideals.

Feminist artists contributed to the shift from modernist to postmodernist cultural practices by being the first to provide this criticism about 50 years ago. They gave more importance to concepts, fields of study, mediums, and design principles overlooked by the formalist fervor of late modernism.

An overview of feminist art

The intensity of American anti-war protests and the emerging gender, civil, and LGBT rights movements throughout the globe coincided with the emergence of the Western Feminist Art movement in the late 1960s. Feminist artists aspired to rewrite falsely male-dominated art history, alter the present reality via their work, interfere in the established art world, and question the established art canon, all while harkening back to the romantic goals of early 20th-century modernist movements. Feminist art opened the way for the Identity and Activist Art movements of the 1980s and provided venues and possibilities for women and minority artists that did not previously exist.

What does feminine energy mean?

The term “feminine energy” refers to a certain collection of characteristics that are thought to be the antithesis of those connected with male energy. Your manly side emerges when you’re pursuing a goal, moving ahead, getting things done, and pushing yourself. When you go with the flow of life, accept your creative energy, dance, play, and are aware of your internal process, you may express your feminine side.

Significantly, these characteristics are not gendered. The collection of characteristics we’ve come to classify as “feminine” results from historical expectations of women’s behavior. Similarly, we have expected males to exhibit the characteristics considered “masculine.” These attributes are not intrinsic to any gender or anything that should be anticipated of any gender since we now know individuals of all genders may have any mix of them. Nevertheless, “feminine” and “masculine” still value expressing two distinct and opposed ways of being.

Both feminine and male energy must be embodied for individuals of all genders to feel like a whole person. Men are often pushed to identify more with a male energy, yet being able to let go and be flexible can be liberating. (Raising males without gender preconceptions is more crucial than ever!) Like males, many women are still taught to be feminine, yet being straightforward, assertive, and forward-thinking has numerous advantages. Having outlets for our male and feminine energy is fulfilling for all of us.

The Divine Feminine’s Awakening

Everyone’s source is unadulterated consciousness, which transcends gender constructs. Gender and many of the labels we choose in our physical manifestation are not there when pure awareness develops into creation. The sensation has no name when you emerge from a profound slumber and become aware of your existence. The distinction between the sexes emerges in a social framework shaped by your ideas, attitudes, and mental training and those of others around you. Being restricted to a strictly binary perception of gender results from several variables far beyond physiological ones.

Because the Divine Feminine is a component of everyone’s completeness, it should not be equated with gender or thought to be exclusive to women. We miss the chance to attain completeness when we categorize all human experiences into two specific genders. We must individually foster the universal ideals that belong to the Divine Feminine if we are to love everyone and help them to love themselves. The Awakening of feminine power art is very important. Every human attribute we love comes from a pure source. The more connected you are to that source, your values will be more intense, enduring, and personal.

Examining Our Healing Potential

What benefits does everyone get from the Divine Feminine? We all embody aspects of the Divine Feminine in some manner. The Divine Feminine is present wherever there is nurturing, holy, compassionate, loving, intuitive, or introspective energy. We have all been socially conditioned to exhibit certain attributes in ways that may lead us to feel uncomfortable.

The same benefits the feminine energy conveys are lost when it is disregarded or damaged. A presence of characteristics linked to male energy emerges in their absence. Strong, excessively competitive, in charge, and dominating are all overdone traits that are disconnected from completeness. We are uncomfortable expressing who we are, which is a fusion of all this energy since society teaches us that they are either/or.

The absence of the Divine Feminine may have terrible effects on a person. There probably isn’t anybody who can’t get anything from restoring their injured feminine energy. No one can maintain the imbalance toward the masculine without impairing their ability for loving acceptance, which starts with self-acceptance. In meditation, we find completeness, but the real healing comes from using self-awareness in everyday situations.
